Andrew Mintzer has more than twenty-five years of experience
as a Certified Public Accountant providing accounting, auditing and litigation services. He draws
on his broad experience to serve as a testifying and consulting expert. His engagements have included a variety of industries, such as financial services, real estate, consumer products, entertainment and manufacturing. Mr. Mintzer's recent engagements have concentrated on accounting and auditing issues involving large public and private companies. Mr. Mintzer has testified on a wide range of accounting issues and has served as an arbitrator and a special master. Mr. Mintzer is one of fifteen members of the
Accounting Standards Executive Committee (AcSEC) of the AICPA, which is
the senior technical committee of the AICPA authorized to set
accounting standards and speak for the AICPA on accounting matters. He
has served in numerous other leadership positions within the Accounting Principles
& Auditing Standards Committee (AP/AS) of the California Society of CPAs and was
an instructor to the Becker CPA Review Course,
the most-used CPA exam review course in the world. He is a former
audit and litigation services partner at Ernst & Young and a Certified
Fraud Examiner. Mr. Mintzer holds a B.A. in accounting and a Master of
Accountancy from the University of South Florida.
