Rory Darnay (213) 576-1807 Rory Darnay's experience includes financial analysis of residential real estate developments, measurement of businesses interruption loss, and reconstruction of fraudulently misstated financial statements. Mr. Darnay is proficient in financial statement analysis and database management, as well as GAAP and other accounting standards research. Prior to joining Freeman & Mills, Mr. Darnay was a forensic accounting intern for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP's Dispute Analysis and Investigations division, where he participated in investigations of public companies charged with fraudulent activities and assessed damages for clients with large insurance claims. Additionally, Mr. Darnay was an intern for Ernst & Young, LLP in its San Francisco Audit practice, where he participated in financial statement audits of clients in the biotech and engineering industries. Mr. Darnay holds a B.S. in Accounting and a Masters of Accounting Sciences from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Mr. Darnay has completed the CPA examination and is awaiting certification.
